After having spent a couple of years working at the front desk of the Stanley, I noticed a lack of physical museum programming that was aimed at guiding guests through the collection in an interpretive, open-ended way. I proposed the creation of the close-looking tour to fill this gap.
After researching and developing the content for this guide, I opted for a minimal yet bold design style to appeal to a broad audience of students and community members. I chose to incorporate Iowa gold to reference the museum’s tie to the university while also exploring an expanded color palette that feels friendly and bright.
